How Far in advance can we book a tee time?
Starting the first full week in March we book for the full season.

What information is required?
We do require both a telephone number and credit card number to hold the reservation.

What do you hold my Credit Card for?
Credit cards are held as a credit card guarantee. We do not process the credit card.

Can I book on-line?
Yes. On our website www.whirlpoolgolf.com you have the ability to book on- line. This service is provided 24 hours a day, 7 days a week.

What is your cancellation policy?
We do require customers to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of their tee time. If they do not cancel or do not show, we may process their credit card. This would be done if we do fail to re-sell the tee time.

What if I don’t want a cart?
Carts at Whirlpool are optional and only need to be asked for when coming into the Pro Shop. Carts are only for that 16 year or older. Those under 16 playing must have an adult driving the cart.

Can my friend who ISN’T playing join me in the cart?
Yes, however there is a cart fee of $16.00 dollars involved. Please note that we do not allow infants in carts.

What type of Clubs do you rent?
We rent 13 piece sets, both left, right, men’s and women’s. They rent for $30.00 and the player only needs to ask when they come into the Pro Shop. We do need a credit card imprint before clubs can be taken out of the Pro Shop.

How do I get to your course?

Directions to Whirlpool Public Golf Course

From the Peace Bridge (Buffalo, New York)
Take QEW Toronto towards Niagara Falls. Exit Hwy 420 towards the bridge to the USA. At the first stoplight turn left onto Stanley Avenue. Turn right at the third stop onto Bridge Street. Continue to the second stoplight and turn left onto Victoria Avenue. At the end, turn left onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Public Golf Course is one kilometre on the left.

From the Lewistown-Queenston Bridge
After crossing the bridge into Canada take the very first exit. This is the Niagara Parkway. At the stop sign, turn right onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Public Golf Course is approximately 4 kilometres on the right.

From Toronto/Hamilton
Approach Niagara Falls on the QEW. Just after crossing the St. Catharines Skyway take Hwy 405 exit towards the Lewiston-Queenston Bridge to the USA. Just before the bridge take the last exit which is the Niagara Parkway. Turn right off of the ramp onto the Niagara Parkway. Whirlpool Public Golf Course is 4 kilometres on the right.

From the Rainbow Bridge (Niagara Falls)
After proceeding through Canada Customs follow the signs directing to the Niagara Parkway – to the right. Go north to the Niagara Parkway (a.k.a. River Road). Continue along the Parkway for approximately 5-10 minutes. The Whirlpool Golf Course will be on the left side.

From the Whirlpool Bridge (Niagara Falls)
After proceeding through Canada Customs turn right on to the Niagara Parkway (a.k.a. River Road). Continue along the Parkway for approximately 5-10 minutes. The Whirlpool Golf Course will be on the left side.

What is the course dress code?
We do have a dress code that is in effect. We ask for no denim, collar shirts with sleeves for men. Women are allowed to wear sleeveless collared shirts. No metal spikes.

Do I need a reservation for the restaurant?
Yes, reservations are recommended at our restaurant.

Can I bring a cooler onto the course?
No. We do not allow personal coolers to be brought on the course.

Can I run a tab on the course?
Yes, with a credit card. Your card will be taken and held at the bar. When you are finished golf, your tab will be at the bar and you will pay for it there. We do advise if you wish to run a tab, that you make these arrangements in advance.

Do you have something on the course?
Yes, we do have a beverage cart which serves alcoholic and non-alcoholic drinks, along with snacks.

Can I run a tab on the carts?
Yes (see above).

Do you have a place where we can just grab a snack?
Yes. We have both a Halfway House and the Beverage Cart which do carry snacks and refreshments. The Halfway House also carries sandwiches, burgers, hot dogs and sausages.

How can I purchase a Gift Certificate?
Gift Certificates can be purchased either over the phone, by visiting our Pro shop or by visitng our On Line Pro Shop located on the home page of this website

How is it sent and when can I get it?
Gift certificates are sent through regular mail to the U.S. and Canada. However in Canada if the gift certificate is required within 3 days we can send it via Express post. In the U.S. the person asking for the certificate will be asked to pay the courier cost.

How long is the Gift Certificate valid for?
Gift certificates are valid for ONE year from the date issued.

What are your hours?
Our Pro Shop is open 7 days a week from Dawn to Dusk. We ask that you come into the Pro Shop prior to your tee time to check in.

We have no open league. They are waiting list only

Should you wish to join, we would be happy to take your name and phone number and will be in touch with you.

Do you have lessons available?
Lessons are available. Prices and packages are available upon request.

What Packages do you offer?
We have a variety of Packages. We have our Parks Pack, where the golfer can play all 3 of our courses over 2 or 3 consecutive days. The fee for this Package is $299 and is inclusive of Golf, Cart, Driving Range and Taxes for all days. We also have our 2 Day Play Package, where the golfer can play one round at Whirlpool and one round at Legends. The fee for this package is $179.00 and is inclusive of Golf, Cart, Driving Range and Taxes. *NOTE: Whirlpool does not have a driving range. We do have a practice net at the first tee where golfer can hit their own balls to warm up.

Do you have a toll free number?
Yes, it is 1-866-465-3642 and is valid throughout North America. Whirlpool matters can be referred directly to Whirlpool for consideration.

Do you have practice facilities?
We do not have a Driving Range but we have a practice net at the first tee where golfers can hit their own balls to warm up. We do have a putting and chipping area which can be used at any time.

Who is your Professional Staff?
Whirlpool Golf Course is pleased to have Dennis Randall CPGA heading up the Professional Staff at Whirlpool.

Do Professional Staff get a Pro Rate?
As a courtesy to our Professionals we ask that you book your tee time through either Curtis Labelle for a tee time at Legends or Dennis Randall for a tee time at Whirlpool. You are limited to one week in advance at restricted times, 2 times per year. Also includes Superintendants and Managers.
* This is a courtesy that is practiced in most Pro shops.

What line of items does your Pro Shop carry?
Our Pro Shop carries a variety of clothing and other articles. Our clubs consist of Titleist and Cobra. We also carry Footjoy shoes. Clothing ranges in price from $39.95 to $119.95. We also have sales throughout the year.

Are Reservations mandatory? If so, Why?
Yes, reservations are mandatory for tee times. Many times we fill our tee sheets up and have had disappointed players show up only to find out that they cannot get out onto the course.

Can I play as a single?
We only book single players with other bookings. This is done when we have twosomes or threesomes that are to be paired up. Should a single player looking to book when we have a blank tee sheet are to go on a wait list and we will contact them as soon as we have the ability to do so.

What if I don’t have a foursome?
We will pair up as many players as possible to make a complete foursome. This is the most efficient use of the tee sheet and we cannot guarantee that you will not be paired up with someone.

What if I really only want to play with my partner?
We do not guarantee that you will not be matched up with someone.

Do you have any Specials that I can get?
We do offer an Early Bird Special which is valid Monday – Thursday from May to September. This does include Breakfast, Cart and taxes

My friend received an offer over the internet/e-mail, can I sent in on this?
If you wish to leave your e-mail address we will add you to our e-mail list. We would be happy to include you in any up-and-coming offers that we might have. However, we are unable to send you the most recent special offer.

What size do you consider a tournament?
We consider tournaments to be 20 or over in size.

Can I book a tournament on your course?
At Whirlpool, the call should be directed Dennis Randall our Head Professional or to Cathy Cornell.

Can I book a play and Stay Package?
We do have an exclusive tour operator who is Niagara Golf and Wine Vacations. They can be reached at 1-877-356-6385. We can transfer the call directly to them; however, I believe they are closed on the weekends.

What type of Grass do you have?
Legends on the Niagara has bent grass tees, fairways and greens. Whirlpool has a mixture of poa anna and bent grass throughout the course.

What are your twilight times?
Whirlpool’s twilight times begin after 2:30pm daily

What if I have to cancel my tee time due to weather?
Since we do not pre-pay your credit card, there is no charge due to weather, however we do ask that you call and cancel your tee time.

Do you issue rain checks?
If you are calling to cancel your tee time, we do not issue rain checks, as nothing has been paid for. Should you be on the course we will issue you a rain check. (See below)

What if I’m on the Course when it’s raining?
Should it be raining when you are out on the course we will issue you a rain check depending on the hole that you are playing. The rule that we follow is:
FRONT 9 – 18 HOLES
BACK 9 – 9 HOLES
