Learn about the amazing creatures that have adapted to lives in the dark, from bats to glow-in-the-dark scorpions!

The Nocturnal exhibit is included with regular admission to the Butterfly Conservatory.

An historical drama directed by Steven Spielberg, based on the true story of the 1839 mutiny aboard the slave ship La Amistad, during which Mende tribesmen abducted for the slave trade managed to gain control of their captors' ship off the coast of Cuba, and the international legal battle that followed their capture by a U.S. revenue cutter. The case was ultimately resolved by the United States Supreme Court in 1841.

Heritage Week

Costumed interpreters will share stories of the history of Niagara Falls and the War of 1812, offering the chance for the public to try on period dress for photo opportunities. Heritage displays will provide information on upcoming battle reenactments and special events.
